Throughout the entire year, our very enthusiastic group of volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes to assist our local vendors, entertain at the festival, help us recruit volunteers and provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for all of our guests. Together, we strive to celebrate the beauty of the edmonds waterfront while creating meaningful connections within our community.
Maren's vision and leadership guide each component of the Edmonds Waterfront Festival. Maren works with the many community partners, local organizations and volunteers to ensure that the essence of a 'welcoming' spirit and the coastal charm of edmonds shine through in each celebration.
Callan brings the Edmonds Waterfront Festival alive by organizing a variety of live music and dance performances, interactive activities, art exhibits and other community events. Callan is meticulous when selecting and scheduling his lineups of entertainment to create fun memories for visitors of all ages.
Elowen coordinates directly with local artisans/makers, food vendors and exhibitors to develop a colorful marketplace filled with handcrafted items, regional cuisine and opportunities for unique shopping experiences. Elowen has always been passionate about promoting small business owners and celebrating creative contributions from the region.
As volunteer engagement manager, torin recruits and trains volunteers for festival duties. As he is focused on building a strong sense of teamwork and hospitality, torin strives to provide an open, welcoming atmosphere for every guest arriving at the festival.
Seraphina identifies nonprofit agencies, civic organizations, school districts and local businesses to foster partnerships which will encourage participation throughout the festival. Seraphina is convinced that partnership is a fundamental element of all successful community festivals.
In addition to managing logistical aspects of the festival (site preparation/planning), alaric also coordinates where vendors are placed, how events are set up along the waterfront and operates overall day-to-day logistics of the festival. In order to guarantee both efficiency and safety for all attendees, performers, vendors and volunteers during the festival, alaric thoroughly inspects every area prior to opening.
